Have a food or drink brand looking for that juicy edge? Check these out!

Hello Viddyozers!

Feature Friday has come upon us again – and after a not so pleasurable trip to the gym this week I was drawn to the ‘Fruit Juice’ template in a hope to kick start my healthy eating again!

This template is not just for juice makers of the world oh no, it has many creative uses if you think outside the box!

‘Fruit Juice’ is available from Template Club and is a Live Action template!

Let’s start with a confession. I was a bit of a speedy gonzales this week and whacked my logo right in the video with no consideration for the dimensions provided.

From now on if this happens to you and it all goes pear shaped feel free to refer to it as “oh crap I’ve done a Becca”.

I’ll have to show you, with great shame that it looks like this:

Don’t ‘do a Becca’. Please look at dimensions.

It lays out specifically to use the box side dimensions as 2048 x 644, and to keep your graphics transparent.

If you cannot do this yourself on Photoshop or similar, there are free online transparency tools that take a bit of practise. They have limited uses per day or sign up options which sometimes cost.

I will always do my best to make sure you get as much out of our templates as possible by suggesting where I feel you can use them.

Although this feels a little specialised I’ve made a list of people or businesses that could use it:

  • Juice companies
  • Health stores
  • Gyms or health centres
  • Personal trainers
  • Childminders / nannies / nurseries
  • Doctor’s offices
  • Dentist offices
  • Corner shops
  • Supermarkets
  • Cafes
  • Bars
  • Restaurants

So let’s talk about the possibilities of how to use it for the above industries or clients.

On the surface this template just sells juice right? Wrong!

I’ll show you how we can brand the carton not just for juice brands but for much more. Ready guys?

So yes, here’s the first option for posting which is to cover juice branding. Let’s remember here your dimensions – one size does not fit all!

The square logo on the table should be a ‘favicon’ or ‘monogram’ of your logo as these are often square or circle in shape. The sides of the carton are as mentioned (2048 x 644) and we would suggest transparent graphics here if you want the carton colour to show through.

This was actually my most fun to make, as I could play around with replacing the logo on the table with text instead which I found simple on PS.

Using a dentist or doctor’s waiting room as inspiration, the template is displaying key information about sugar in your everyday glass of juice (with the help of adorable emojis).

I made the background transparent and set the box to a yellow colour. The table logo space makes your graphic slightly transparent and this made my text a little harder to read – so I made a dark background with white text in PS.

There’s many bars, restaurants and cafes boasting new and healthy alternatives including fresh juices, shakes and protein drinks. This would work great for these!

As well as these places selling juice and soft drinks, personal trainers are making big business of meal plans and promoting this on their social media accounts. Little tips for healthy food and drink consumption can be shown via video.

If you’ve been inspired by the ideas above (I hope so!) but you haven’t joined Template Club yet then here’s a little button of dreams to send you the right way!
