Well hello October, spooky month has arrived!
Which reminds me, we have a Halloween contest on to win an amazing Panasonic Lumix G7 digital camera. We want short but scary videos using our templates – as spooky as you can!!
[entries valid until October 9th 2017]
As we leave September behind let’s wrap up what the Template Club has brought us – and if you’re feeling left behind because you’ve not joined us there yet – then get clicking below!
‘App Developer (Logo)’
For every new product or service there seems to be an app to go alongside it.
This is great for extended accessibility and a larger user base!
I think this template has lots of uses past introducing a new app that you could be really missing out on. I would say showing your webpage functions on a device – which means anyone with social media can use this!
The ability to change so many elements in terms of colour comes from you guys and your requests for extra customization.
‘Car Expo (Social)’
I’ve noticed that some templates can be quite specific – for example a type of beer or a colour of wine. These can be altered in some cases in third party software, which can take a lot of time.
My suggestion would always be to gather any footage you can for specific things and allow the templates to compliment the video themes.
Car Expo is a great example of doing this for social media elements!
With the ability to change the colour of the body work, you can match this to whatever footage you have for car sales rooms, garages, exhibitions and car washes.
It doesn’t limit the car make or model, the size of car, the location – it’s use against related footage makes it easily identifiable as automotive, without being too specific and isolating the video content you can produce.
Time for the first ever showcase of your work!
I was blown away with just how many of you wanted to be a part of this – and if you want the chance to be featured next month simply send your Viddyoze creations to me at Becca@Viddyoze.com
First up was Dewey McGuirk – he created a beautiful video for a friend whose grandfather passed away. His mother gave him a stack of old photos and asked him to make a slide show.
This is a great example of what we looked at this month in our Viddyoze Gift Guide Blog post.
Amy Malejko created this dynamic fast paced video for Contour Closures. What I like specifically is the consistency in the colour scheme, the flow of visuals and the way the templates reflect the mechanisms of the products featured.
This is a great way of using your subject to inspire your template choices. Very well executed!
